The documentary film “Dirty Waters” (Vårt Grisiga Hav) by director/producer
Folke Rydén and co-director Ulrika Björkstén has been awarded the prestigious Special Jury Award at the 2012 WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.
Dirty Waters, co-produced by Swedish Television SVT, is a compelling story about how enormous new animal farms are affecting the Baltic Sea environment.
The film was singled-out in a competition filled with numerous of
entrants
from around the world in the category Environment & Ecology.
At the same festival the accompanying web site www.ourbalticsea.com was given the
Platinum Award in the category Best Green Website.
